 Little Lost birdThis little bird, as with all my bronzes is from a limited edition, always very small (I go for exclusivity. This is number 2, of an edition of 5. As an artist I am , and have always been interested in creation, beginnings, dawn if you like, I imagined this little bird as number one, the first bird of its type ever. In my minds eye I saw it as being raw, like a prototype, flawed, but innocent, it obviously has a long way to go before it becomes more than the 1st fledgling. 650€ 560 GBP |  Blue lady, different anglePlease see Blue lady 1 |  Blue ladyI was trying not to create an Ibicencan woman, I never wanted to create a "Pages" (country person" Eventually I realised that I was losing the battle, so I went with the flow, but never deliberately trying either way. He was so pleased with the result that I had accomplished from photographs, that he spread the news far and wide. From that day I have never looked back.  Podenco on the roofNilo, bought by a lovely Belgian celebrity for her house here on Ibiza. The house is now sold, Nilo stayed, Belgian celeb is now a friend. |  Wire and Tape PodencoI first started to make small Podenco's in wire, and masking tape, as maquettes for bronze. People came, saw, and wanted, as seen, and as is.. So off I went producing. I liked this model so much I added a light resin coat. 27 W x 27 H CM 145 € 121 GBP |  Ship dogI was on a very cold, misty, day travelling from somewhere to somewhere else on a leaky old bucket of a ferry. I smoked in those day's, and would, as often as I could go out on deck to do so. Whilst there I would look in wonder at the many thick layers of white paint, that did a terrible job of masking the rust. I bubbled out in great blisters, and it mesmerised me. So much time later, and with time to do so, I lightly copied the effect. I used matt paint, instead of gloss, I used acrylic. |  Manti.  Husk bronzeIt came to me on a dream, or a nightmare, I don't recall, and I do not care. What matters is, I managed to capture exactly what I saw in that apparition, exactly down to hidden details.
